Julie Fuillet & light designer Emeric Thiénot

A graduate of the Paris La Villette School of Architecture (DPLG), Julie Fuillet didn't choose the most direct path to making decoration and interior design her passion. It was by joining the largest architecture firm in French Polynesia, somewhat by chance, that she began to familiarize herself with luxury hotel projects. This opportunity subsequently allowed her to approach several major Parisian firms, where she worked as a project manager for over eight years.

It was within the agencies, all specializing in high-end products and luxury hotels, of Jean-Philippe Nuel, Vincent Bastie or Jean-Marc Lalo, that she cut her teeth through very different worlds and approaches.

She signed with DCW éditions the iconic Rosalie wall light (with the participation of light designer Emeric Thiénot).

"It was through working on luxury hotel projects, within agencies specializing in high-end products and luxury hospitality, that I shaped my approach to design."
