Marc Held
Marc Held was one of France's most influential designers of the 1970s, whose creations spoke for themselves. Best known for the iconic Culbuto chair, he cultivated a subtle dialogue between rigour and originality, past and present, architecture and interior design.
Born in 1932 and passing away in 2026, Marc Held continued to design houses that captivated the world's leading design magazines. He had recently completed the construction of a rammed-earth school in Senegal, an exemplary project combining innovation and commitment.
