About the designer

Nourri à l’aune de l’imagerie inspiré à Jodorowsky par le roman de science-fiction culte Dune, Douglas Mont n’est pas américain mais bien français. Un sien grand-oncle éloigné, G.L. Rispal, fut le fondateur en 1924 de la firme parisienne Rispal, spécialisée dans les luminaires à prix raisonnables, et qui, après des décennies florissantes et des centaines de références en catalogue, éteignit la lumière en 1982.
